https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=29085 Bug ID: 29085 Summary: Dangling component references Product: XML Schema Test Suite Version: 2006-11-06 Hardware: PC OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Sun Tests Assignee: cmsmcq@blackmesatech.com Reporter: mike@saxonica.com QA Contact: public-xml-schema-testsuite@w3.org Target Milestone: --- Tests suntest/xsd015.e, suntest/xsd016e, and Microsoft MS-Regex2006-07-15 contain schema documents that are claimed to be invalid because they contain references to absent components. However the spec is adamant that a reference to an absent component does not make the schema invalid, it merely results (potentially) in validation being incomplete. I am therefore going to mark these tests as "disputed". -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the QA Contact for the bug.
