Folks, In reviewing https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=20995 As near as I can tell, we're going to need to add the document-uri property to our spec and be explicit about what values it gets. I see two possibilities, either we *do* impose the caching requirement on documents loaded with a (literal or computed) URI, or we make sure that the document-uri is the empty sequence for documents we load. I'm unclear on the consequences of specifying that the document-uri is the empty sequence. At a casual reading, it seems only to have the effect that the fn:document-uri() function will return the empty sequence. Thoughts?
