I've updated the editor's working draft at

for a second time today. In particular:

  * Reworked implicit pipeline inputs and outputs, see Section 2.3,
    “Primary Inputs and Outputs”, so that compound steps still get a
    default output.

  * Expanded the prose that attempts to support both XPath 1.0 and
    XPath 2.0, fleshing out the XPath 2.0 context a big, see Section
    2.8, “XPaths in XProc”.

  * Attempted to support default bindings on p:input.

I'll leave it alone now until Thursday.
