Name: [p:]serialize Description: The seriailze component replaces each child of the document element with its serialization. The child items that are not character items are converted into character items by this component. This effectively "escapes" the XML content. Inputs: source: A single document. The input document containing the XML to escape. Outputs: result: A single document. The result of the serialization with the children of the document element replaced with their serialization. [ed note: we might want serialization controls here as parameters] -- --Alex Milowski "The excellence of grammar as a guide is proportional to the paucity of the inflexions, i.e. to the degree of analysis effected by the language considered."
