ISO/IEC SC34/WG1 has been tasked with preparing a standard explaining how pipelining can be used for validation management based on ISO 19757, the new Document Schema Definition Languages (DSDL) standard from ISO, which includes standardized definitions for both RELAX-NG and Schematron. As part of this process we have developed a simple scenario that we are using to test whether or not proposed pipelining languages can meet our validation management requirements. This scenario is described in the attached document. We would be grateful if you would include the functionality outlined in this document in your statement of requirements for the forthcoming XML PL Use Cases and Requirements working draft.
