Probably it is safer to wait until XML Schema 1.1 *do* this change. Then XProc could be updated to take this new feature into account Xmlizer 2009/6/14 Krzysztof Maczyński <1981km@gmail.com>: > Dear WG, > > The XProc CR says: >> In order to be consistent with the rest of this specification, boolean values for the serialization parameters must use one of the XML Schema lexical forms for boolean: "true", "false", "1", or "0". This is different from the [Serialization] specification which uses "yes" and "no". No change in semantics is implied by this different spelling. > Why not allow "yes" and "no" as well? Since there already are 2 truthy and falsy values, this wouldn't cost much, and a gratuituous deviation from the referenced standard [Serialization] would be avoided. BTW, currently developed XML Schema 1.1 probably should also make an analoguous change. > >
