Dear AC, AB, TAG, Chairs, and Team attending TPAC 2013,

Please find below important reminders regarding visa applications,
hotel reservations, and the week's events.

* URGENT VISA INFO: If you have not yet applied for your visa, PLEASE contact your
local consulate to determine precisely what you will need for your visa application.
In France, for example, the requirements changed last week.

We recommend actually contacting the consulate as Web sites may not yet be updated.

Some people have indicated that under new requirements it may be necessary
to have a hotel or other address prior to the visa application. Please check with your local
   consulate for authoritative information.

Based on some of the new requirements we are aware of, we have updated
our registration form [1] and invitation letter template. However, if you require more
information on your visa application letter than we anticipate in our registration
form, please let Beihang University know in your email request for the visa
   invitation letter.

  * HOTEL RESERVATION: If you plan to stay at the Wuzhou Guest House,
please make your reservation as soon as possible. The favorable
    rate expires 10 October.

  * A/V EQUIPMENT. Chairs, if you need equipment for your face-to-face
meetings, please complete the A/V request form by 7 October:
    https://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/34786/TPAC2013-av/

  * TENCENT WE SUMMIT. Tencent is organizing an event on Sunday, 10
November: Tencent WE Summit. Tencent plans to announce the event
publicly in October. It will be open to all. I have attached
information about the event provided by Tencent for Members only.

  * For the latest draft agenda, still in development, see:

The TPAC Program Committee meets next on 23 September.

See you in Shenzhen,
