The XML Core WG requests publication of XML Inclusions (XInclude) Version 1.1 Candidate Recommendation. It should be published at http://www.w3.org/TR/2013/CR-xinclude-11-20131008/ The document is currently staged at http://www.w3.org/XML/2013/09/xinclude-11/ The staged document is designed to be published on October 8 by having the directory moved over to http://www.w3.org/TR/2013/CR-xinclude-11-20131008/ in its entirety (which we ask webreq to do since we don't have permission). The document is valid and satisfies all pubrules (and will have no invalid links once it is in the TR location). XInclude 1.1 adds some upward-compatible enhancements to the XInclude 1.0 Recommendation. The three key enhancements can be summarized as follows: * added support for a fragment identifier into text/plain content, * additional processing to allow for "annotating" the post-included infoset with further information, and * allow implementations the flexibility to support additional parse values. The minutes of the transition call are available at http://www.w3.org/2013/10/04-xcr-minutes.html (team only). SCHEDULE We propose a publication date of 8 October 2013. Paul Grosso and Norman Walsh, chairs of the XML Core WG.
