-------- Original Message -------- Subject: TPAC 2012 Plenary Schedule (and other reminders) Resent-Date: Tue, 18 Sep 2012 20:06:56 +0000 Resent-From: chairs@w3.org Date: Tue, 18 Sep 2012 15:06:51 -0500 From: Ian Jacobs <ij@w3.org> To: W3C Chairs <chairs@w3.org> CC: W3C Members <w3c-ac-members@w3.org> Dear TPAC Attendees, The TPAC Plenary Day Schedule is now online: http://www.w3.org/wiki/TPAC2012 Like last year, the Plenary Day will consist mostly of breakout sessions. We have made some changes based on your feedback: more time for breakouts, more flexibility for reporting, less time in plenary, and scheduled breaks. If you are interested in organizing a breakout session, please add your description to the wiki and start to socialize it on the chairs list or w3c-ac-forum. http://www.w3.org/wiki/TPAC2012/SessionIdeas For more information about how the day will work, see the updated FAQ: http://www.w3.org/wiki/TPAC2012/FAQ We are also compiling notes on organizing a successful breakout session. We welcome your suggestions in the wiki: http://www.w3.org/wiki/TPAC2012/FAQ#What_is_good_practice_for_organizing_a_session.3F Other notes: * FOR NEW AC REPS. We are organizing a breakfast for new AC Reps Tuesday, 30 October, from around 7:15 to 8:45 at the Hotel Concorde. We'll have light breakfast and discussion about the role of the AC Representative and any questions you may have. * REGISTRATION. Registration fees go up after 16 October. http://www.w3.org/2012/10/TPAC/#Registration * HOTEL. We suggest you book your hotel as soon as possible. We do not have a block booking.
