> The Chairs of the HTML WG proposed a plan to get HTML5 and related specifications to REC quickly. It is now up for a Call for Consensus in the HTML Working Group: <http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-html/2012Oct/0026.html>

> We wanted to alert Chairs of other Working Groups, because this may affect plans for review of HTML WG deliverables by other groups. In brief, we are planning to go to CR without another intervening Last Call, but we plan to have a final Last Call after the CR period, which will then go directly to PR. The HTML WG Chairs can answer questions about these or any other details.
