Since XML Schema 1.1 was published just 8 or so months ago and there are just two implementations it is very likely that more bug reports and requests for clarification will raise over comming months/years. It would be better if such feedback will be handled by the original XML Schema WG. But if Schema WG is going to be closed then am in favour of taking over the maintenance. In this case I think it would be wise to ask invited experts in Schema WG like MSMQ or Mike Kay to join Core WG in order to maintain continuity and have access to historic memory of some decisions.
