I guess I can live with this as it stands in the 27 November draft. I will suggest some wording changes at the editorial level before we go to PER. >> Note on same document reference from the PI >> ------------------------------------------- >> The 1st Ed has a note that is no longer in the draft 2nd Ed. >> Paul wondered if we should include it, and Henry did thinks so. Looks good in 27 November draft. - ---------------- New (old) issue: The description of where 'the processor' sits wrt 'the application' seems to have been lost at some point. I thought we had agreed that something along the lines of [XML] defines an *application* as a software module which receives the information content of an XML document from an *XML processor*. [Definition: A (conforming) *xml-stylesheet processor* is such an application which processes XML processing instructions [ref REC-xml/#sec-pi] whose [PITarget] is 'xml-stylesheet' in accordance with this specification.] An *xml-stylesheet processor* may be part of a larger XML application, or may function independently. In either case, [Definition: an *application* is the consumer of the pseudo-attribute analysis defined in this specification.] would be added. ht - -- Henry S.
