I reviewed[1] "XML Binding Language (XBL) 2.0"[2] for the XML Core WG[3]. Core elected not to comment on the fact that XBL uses CSS but not XPath despite having an underlying XML vocabulary. I agreed to point this out to the XSL and XML Query WGs in case they might want to make that comment.
