I had thought the new XML specs were going to introduce the term "XML Resource Identifier" to describe the thing that gets converted to a URI by escaping non-ascii and some ascii characters. But the description of system identifiers has not changed. Did we decide not to do this or did it somehow get lost? In particular, I was expecting us to use it in the revision to XML Base. -- Richard
