I've had a go -- it was pretty easy, I've added XLink 1.1 support and
tightened up some attribute presence/absence checking. Results on our
mini-test-suite now agree with Norm's.
Now the hard part -- finding out how to get the resulting patches
accepted into sourceforge. . .
