I know Steven had this action, but I wanted to ensure my Schema and DTD implementations were working right, so... There is a sample document http://htmlwg.mn.aptest.com/sample2.xml That document is DTD and Schema valid. However, the W3C validator has its own internal sense of what the XHTML 1.1 DTD is and there does not appear to be a way to override it. If I cheat and change the document's FPI (as I have done in http://htmlwg.mn.aptest.com/sample3.xml) the validator confirms that it validates. See http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fhtmlwg.mn.aptest.com%2Fsample3.xml&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0&user-agent=W3C_Validator%2F1.654 You can also try it against the W3C schema validator at http://www.w3.org/2001/03/webdata/xsv This service seems a little flaky, but I did get it to agree the document was Schema valid. So, I consider these action items complete. -- Shane P. McCarron Phone: +1 763 786-8160 x120 Managing Director Fax: +1 763 786-8180 ApTest Minnesota Inet: shane@aptest.com
