<p>This is an exciting part of the story, but this paragraph <separator d:pagenum="26" /> spans two printed pages. One would most logically use the separator element to indicate that break. Is this usage -- the insertion of a separator element inline -- legal? The paragraph which began at the end of pagenum="25" is continued on this page, and should be treated as a paragraph, regardless of the separator. However, the consumer needs to be aware of pagination for use in citations or as the start and end points of an assigned reading. Can one use the separator element in such a use case, or is the page author limited to use of a generic element, such as span, with a role assigned to it?</p> gregory. ---------------------------------------------------------------- CONSERVATIVE, n.
