aloha! one question: why wasn't the joint meeting more broadly/openly announced? there was no one in the XHTML2 WG that had been informed (save, apparently, for StevenP, but he's unavailable for meetings this week) there was also a list of participants from PF, logged in the minutes archived at: http://www.w3.org/2007/10/10-pf-minutes.html who were supposed to be part of the call, but no one on the list seems to have been informed of the call -- and no one other than SteveP or RichS working within the XHTML2 WG was even aware that there was a call, so the posting of the minutes took those of us in the #xhtml channel quite by surprise Al asked Rich, quote Who is going to tell XHTML2 WG? unquote many in the XHTML2 WG are wondering why they were not told before-hand -- SteveP was not available to chair the XHTML2 WG meeting today, so there was time for WG participants to communicate via IRC, and the announcement of a meeting and a proposed solution took everyone by surprise... it is important that we keep the lines of communication to all stake-holders as open as possible -- was this a breakdown or an executive decision? gregory. -- "He who lives on Hope, dies farting." -- Benjamin Franklin, Poor Richard's Almanack -- Gregory J.
