For WebID and Linked Data to really scale, the following simply cannot be impediments: 1. domain name ownership 2. dns server access and admin privileges 3. web server access and admin privileges 4. de-referencable URI patterns . A WebID is a verifiable de-referencable URI, that's it. Said URI resolves to a profile graph from which a variety of trust related inferences can be drawn or entailed. Being able to learn more about an email sender via a WebID is what this bootstrap pattern is fundamentally about. The code requirement is zero.
