XG USDL - WP3: Scenario meeting invitation

Dear members of the incubator group,

I would you like to inform you about the first "scenario meeting, WP3" on Monday, 28.3.2011, 16.00 - 17.00 UTC+2.

As discussed yesterday in our concall we have to implement several scenarios for USDL to prove the usage of USDL - and therefore the need for a standard. This task is written in WP3 of our Project Plan. (http://www.w3.org/2005/Incubator/usdl/wiki/WP3).

Siemens would like to implement two scenarios, one in the energy sector (services around smart grid) and one in the healthcare sector (services for hospitals). As I know, Ken Blackwell from CA would like to contribute one scenario as well as Kay Kadner from SAP. Additional support comes from Bryan Murray/HP, Roland Hedberg/Umea University Sweden and Maximilian Kintz/Frauenhofer IAO.

In the first call I would like to talk about the planned scenarios and your participation. Therefore I'll prepare some slides which depict the Siemens scenarios a bit deeper than the headline. If you would like to discuss your scenario at this meeting as well please give notice to me in advance - I count on Kay and Ken for that.

If you would like to participate as well but your are not mentioned above please feel free to join our conference - dial in number and links are provided in a proceeding mail this week.

Best regards
Martin Schäffler
