Dear all, At the University of Brighton we used the SSN ontology as a case-study for the application of our diagrammatic technique for modelling ontologies. In particular, on page 105 of the document below, there is a large diagram depicting the SSN ontology, which some of you may be interested in. http://www.ontologyengineering.org/sites/default/files/OntologyEngineeringWithDiagramsV1-1.pdf I should point out that, in this example, we present a portion of the SSN ontology. Furthermore, we have relaxed one of the constraints in the ontology; this is explained in the text. If you are further interested, our diagrammatic language, called Concept Diagrams, is a formal language with well defined syntax and semantics. We've been developing such visual logics for the past 15 years or so, and if you would like more information I'm happy to talk to people off-list. -- Dr Aidan Delaney Senior Lecturer in Computing web : http://www.ontologyenginering.org twitter: http://www.twitter.com/aidandelaney G+ : https://plus.google.com/+AidanDelaney
