Meeting Minutes 20 October 2010

Hi again,

Thanks everyone who attended today's meeting: Arthur, Cory, Payam, Krzysztof and to Andriy for scribing.

The minutes are here http://www.w3.org/2010/10/20-ssn-minutes.html
(and the minutes from the previous meeting are here: http://www.w3.org/2010/10/12-ssn-minutes.html ).

For those who were not present, we have updated the new reviewer registration form http://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/43337/SSN-XGR-Review2/ to add the status of each part (READY, NOT READY ..) so that everyone can more easily know what is open for review. To help you to fill the questionnaire to register your interest to contribute to specific part of the report, here are the main points what we discussed during the teleconf:

The changes in the structure of the questionnaire are motivated by

... the need to have all the result from one person at the same place

... the alignment with the updated report structure

there are some parts where less people were involved, reviewers are welcome even if not very confident... In particular, the semantic markup section. Please add a "confidence level" in the comment box if you fell like it.

And we need reviewers for the Semantic Markup part!

We also clarified what will be in the http://www.w3.org/2005/Incubator/ssn/wiki/SSN_Skeleton module page (formerly SSN_ Upper) = the skeleton classes (not the alignement to DUL) : Krzysztof will make the changes to make it look more like the other Module doc pages (with the pink and blue boxes for the rest of the doc available and example).

The http://www.w3.org/2005/Incubator/ssn/wiki/Foundational_Layer page is where we will put the DUL alignment rationale and implementation.

Krzysztof, I have just realised that we have two "Foundational layer" pages on the wiki (the difference is the upper case vs. lower case l in the title). You may want to reuse some of the formatted references I have added in the 2nd one: http://www.w3.org/2005/Incubator/ssn/wiki/Foundational_layer

We have restructured the Section 7 of the report: http://www.w3.org/2005/Incubator/ssn/wiki/Report_Conclusion_and_Recommendations

Laurent to modify the plan of Section 7 Conclusion and Recommendations
ACTION DISCUSSED AND COMPLETED (see new plan below)

And I have another action to complete on the basis of our discussion (and decision to put Cory and me as the XGR editors):
Laurent to update the authors and editors of the report

That's all
Cheers
Laurent
