Hi all, For those interested in working on the annotation work package, I have divided the work into three main tasks and provided some description of each. You may volunteer to work on a particular task by going to the annotation page on the wiki ( http://www.w3.org/2005/Incubator/ssn/wiki/Semantic_Mark_up), go to "Task Volunteers" and place your name next to the task. The different tasks may benefit from different backgrounds; for example, all tasks would benefit from knowledge of the OGC-SWE standards, task 1 (mapping from OGC-SWE to SSN-XG Ontology) would benefit from knowledge of the SSN-XG Ontology, and task 2 (syntax and semantics of annotations) would benefit from knowledge of either XLink, RDFa, or other annotation techniques. thanks for your help, -Cory On Mon, Oct 5, 2009 at 5:58 PM, <Holger.Neuhaus@csiro.au> wrote: > Hi all, > > > > - First of all, there’s going to be *no teleconference* this week (as > there won’t be *for the rest of October*). > - Please support Cory and Michael in preparing the draft deliverables > for the face-to-face. > - Please put down your name on the attendees list at > http://www.w3.org/2005/Incubator/ssn/wiki/Attendees_of_the_Face-to-Face_Meetingif you will be at the face-to-face meeting and in case you haven’t done so, > yet. > - Please feel invited sharing your submission(s) to the ISWC and the > workshops with the XG. > - Also: consider giving a short demo at the face-to-face meeting. > > > > > > Cheers, > > Holger > > > > *Dr. Holger Neuhaus* > Research Fellow > Tasmanian ICT Centre > CSIRO > > Phone: +61 3 6232 5547* | *Fax: +61 3 6232 5000 > holger.neuhaus@csiro.au *|* www.csiro.au *|* > http://www.csiro.au/people/Holger.Neuhaus.html > > Address: GPO Box 1538, Hobart TAS 7001, Australia > > *The Tasmanian ICT Centre is jointly funded by the Australian Government > through the Intelligent Island Program and CSIRO.
