Dear Participants, The W3C augments it's phone conferencing facilities by using Internet Relay Chat (IRC). This includes, agenda management, minute taking, managing the queue for speakers who wish to say something, and general meeting management. To learn more about IRC, please read: http://www.w3.org/Project/IRC/ If you are not able to dial in for some reason, you can still communicate with the rest of the meeting via IRC. To get an IRC client: http://www.w3.org/Project/IRC/#Client We will be using the IRC insecure server over HTTP and the details of that are available at: http://www.w3.org/Project/IRC/#Server Please join the Channel known as SSN, the command to do that is /join #ssn My nick name is usually: Amit or Amit_oz For Apple Mac users: I can recommend using Colloquy - a free open source IRC client. See you online. Regards, Amit Amit Parashar W3C Australia Office Manager Senior Software Engineer CSIRO ICT Centre +61 (0)2 6216 7062
