It's ironic that LinkedIn does not get any press like other Social Networks when it comes to privacy... The other "lack of scruples" feature is that LinkedIn will show you a list of "People You May Know" (after you connect to someone) and list people with both real LinkedIn accounts, and those from your local contact address book (with no LinkedIn account) so that it looks like they *all* have LinkedIn accounts.
