many people assume that when a change is made on a platform, e.g, a social networking service, all the users get the benefit, regardless of the devices they use to access the service. In fact, unless the service/social network is mobile-centric, the mobile features very frequently (the rule is they) lag behind the "regular browser" features. And there is a difference between when the features are implemented for mobile Web vs. mobile client applications. Yesterday, it was announced that m.facebook.com, the mobile Web interface of Facebook, (now or in the near future will) permits the user access to the same privacy controls as were rolled out for desktop users earlier this year (May 26 2010). http://blog.facebook.com/blog.php?post=413846952130 -- Christine Spime Wrangler cperey@perey.com mobile +41 79 436 68 69 VoIP (from US) +1 (617) 848-8159 Skype (from anywhere) Christine_Perey
