Discovery for Social Networks and Beyond: WebFinger, XRD-S, LRDD, and more

And our next telecon, we'll be having Eran Hammer-Lahav of Yahoo! as
our speaker, whose done lots of work with "discovery" - how do you
find out in a decentralized system like a distributed social network
which protocols, metadata, and more are supported in a uniform way?

. It would be great if people could look over his various drafts and
related work, which is linked from below. We should, as an XG, put
together a review of some of this work if possible.  Also, check his
blog out [1] for summaries of these issues, here's a slightly
out-of-date but good overview [2], which he has promised to update
today.
