Hi all I'm Pete Ferne, I am CTO of a web startup here in Bristol, UK called Jiva Technology [1]. I am hoping to participate as an invited expert. My background is in web application development, with large side orders of social, mobile and locative stuff, mostly with startups and research labs including Futurelab and HP Labs' Pervasive Media group. I am working on a social messaging tool, Happy To Help [2], for discovering and having live conversations with subject experts and a loosely coupled 'whuffie' web service [3] with semantic underpinnings and an open API. Publicly available information on both projects is currently sparse but should be fleshed out in the coming weeks. -- Peter Ferne, +44 (0)7970 942 261, petef@jivatechnology.com [1]: http://jivatechnology.com/ [2]: http://hth.im/ [3]: http://blog.scrump.com/
