Completed:
* [DONE] ACTION: danbri circulate wookie proposal to the xg
* [DONE] ACTION: danbri to write up orkut/i18n/"looking for" issue
Forgotten What Exactly I promised:
* [CONTINUES] ACTION: danbri to write up widget business story.
I propose to drop this from formal monitoring, as I don't see a very
precise task here (my fault for letting time pass). I will try to write
something on biz and widgets but I forget the original context / goal.
Invited speakers to arrange (3 actions continue):
* [CONTINUES] ACTION: danbri to find someone from Opera to talk Widgets
Status: Several Opera folks are awaiting a specific proposal from us, re
dates.
Q: maybe some joint session with W3C Widgets group people, invite Wookie
folk too? What problem specifically are we addressing. Suggestions:
focus on social graph context and addressbook/contact APIs. Make this a
fact-finding telecon re schemas used and plans from the various
initiatives. Also role of OAuth etc for accessing user-private data, or
(in mobile widgets) the phone's addressbook.
* [CONTINUES] ACTION: danbri and karl to contact Evan of identi.ca
over OpenMicroblogging and W3C.
* [CONTINUES] ACTION:Renato and DanBri and hhalpin to schedule
DataPortability.org/XMPP
I'll sync with Harry before approaching these folk; I just got back from
3 weeks offline and am not sure what discussions I've missed.
