Photo UC : proposed next steps

As follow up on the previous mail, MMLab proposes to further elaborate on
the Photo UC [1] in the following way:

 

-          Firstly, as DIG35 v1.0 is the most complete still image
vocabulary, we propose to make a RDF/OWL mapping.

-          Secondly, to show the interoperability issues of the Photo UC, we
propose to come up with a concrete example describing the discrepancies of
MPEG-7 vs. DIG35 v1.0.

-          Thirdly, as a proof of concept an extra RDF layer/framework needs
to be build to solve the mismatches of the above mentioned metadata
standards.
