Attendees:
Ravi Ganesan
Ben Wilson
Thomas Hardjono
Allan McClure
Siddharth Bajaj
Minutes:
* Ben discussed his findings about the IPR statement for the XG
report.
o Ravi mentioned that we can point to the spec released on
mashssl.org under Open Web Foundation license.
o Ben will look into that and report back in a couple of weeks
* Siddharth walked through some of the sections
o Introduction
* No comments. Looks good for now & we can revisit once the rest
of the report is put together
o Use case - 3 party MashSSL
* It was suggested that we should clarify the figure and say
that the two web applications can be in different domains. One
suggestions was to add example URLs for the web applications
o Use case - 2-party MashSSL
* Ravi brought up the point whether we should make the 2-party
handshake optimization at the start a SHOULD or a MUST. It was suggested
that we should address/re-visit this issue in a later section.
o Collect references for these two sections, will make the job
easier later
o Real-world use cases - it was suggested that a short
description of a real-world use cases would help visualize the
applicability of the work.
o Everybody was ok with adding a requirements section. However,
rename 'Requirements' section to 'Design Goals'
* Logistics
o Presentation to CA/Browser forum was postponed to a future
call.
o Ben will be unavailable for next two weeks.
o Next call will be 5/13
