Hello everyone, I'm Kosuke Tanabe[1], from Keio University, Tokyo, Japan. I studied library science at Keio and was involved in HUMI Project[2], a project to digitize rare books (e.g. Gutenberg Bible and Japanese picture scrolls). After graduating from the university, I worked for Tokyo University of Technology as a librarian from 2005 to 2009. I have been developing an open-source integrated library system[3] based on FRBR model since that time. Now I'm a Ph.D. student at Keio and engaged in the development of NDL Search[4] from 2010. Since participating in several digitization projects, I have been interested in bibliographic metadata, especially FRBR, RDA and linked data. This is my first experience to join the W3C group and I hope I can contribute to the community.
