Dear all, I will reserve zakim for a teleconference at midnight between Monday 14 March and Tuesday 15 March. That translates into [1]: San Francisco 2100 Monday Boston 0000 "Tuesday" (i.e., Monday night!!) Amsterdam/Paris 0600 Tuesday Kuala Lumpur 1300 Tuesday Tokyo 1400 Tuesday Expected are: Tom (chair), Dickson, Hideaki, Karen, Marcia, Emmanuelle, Kosuke, Ed, Tom, Jeff -- add your name at http://doodle.com/f6mta2ke8pvphc5e. The purpose of the call will be to focus on the issues of concern to members of the XG who live in time zones that preclude their participation in regular telecons. By default, the call will be an update on the state of our activities; planning the call will be on the agenda of our 10 March call. On the other hand, we are very keen to hear the issues and concerns of the participants from Asia-Pacific, so I will be happy to reserve time for presentations. Because of the language factor in communicating in English by phone without the benefit of face-to-face interaction, I would like to ask for an experienced scribe to volunteer for this important call -- someone who can capture in detail what is being said so that we can all read along, especially if the phone lines are acoustically less than perfect. Ed or Marcia, I note that if you were to scribe this, it be your third and last time to be asked to scribe for the life of the XG [2].
