Hi everyone, On the following item of this week's agenda: > =========================================== > 2. Use cases (Antoine) Here are some pointers on what other W3C groups did in the past years. We have two main options, depending on our preference and manpower. 1. Launching a public call for use case. That was we did for SKOS [0,1] - definition of a template [2] - sending a call to community lists[3,4] - gathering use cases [5] - curating them -- may involve getting more information from UC providers) [6] In this scenario case the XG members in charge of the UC effort act more as editors. This was also followed by the Semantic Web Education and Outreach group when they gathered their own use cases [10,11]. 2. "In-house" effort: - not sending a call to community lists - having XG members hunt and write down potential UCs by themselves This was roughly what was done by the Provenance XG [7]. Note that apparently the Prov XG had is UC effort guided by some initial gathering of what the technical issues there. This XG also documented the process of creating the template and curating UC, see [8,9]. If Kai and Michael (who are also member of the prov XG) are on the call they'd be welcome to confirm this or give more detail.
