As we have done so far, we'll start off with the requirements that seem to have reached the closest to consensus from the email list and move to the ones that have more discussion. I've tried to estimate email thread current positions after the link. 1. Touch base to make sure everyone agrees with the minutes from last week's call (http://www.w3.org/2010/12/09-htmlspeech-minutes.html) and the current version of the requirements draft (http://www.w3.org/2005/Incubator/htmlspeech/live/draft-20101216-requirements.html). 2. Require encryption http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xg-htmlspeech/2010Dec/0099.html (consensus to keep) 3. Require best practices http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xg-htmlspeech/2010Dec/0107.html (consensus to drop) 4. Require support for text (not just audio) interpretation http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xg-htmlspeech/2010Dec/0122.html (consensus to keep if not complicated) 5. Require support for rerecognition http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xg-htmlspeech/2010Dec/0133.html (consensus to keep) 6. Require a concept of session http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xg-htmlspeech/2010Dec/0130.html (non-consensus, but maybe cookies solves this need?) 7. Modify FPR30 http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xg-htmlspeech/2010Dec/0111.html (non-consensus about removing UA) 8. Require cancel http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xg-htmlspeech/2010Dec/0134.html (non-consensus more discussion, not sure how much this adds considering FPR 17) 9. Device API discussions and questions http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xg-htmlspeech/2010Dec/0142.html (non-consensus more discussion) 10. Next steps/planning. ============== ==Telecon info == ============== Date: Thursday, 16 December 2010 Time: Noon (New York), 1800 (Central Europe), 0200 (Tokyo) Duration: 90 minutes US telephone number: +1.617.761.6200 France telephone number: +33.4.26.46.79.03 UK telephone number: +44.203.318.0479 Conference code: 48657# (HTMLS#) Info on using Zakim: http://www.w3.org/2002/01/UsingZakim<im:%20%20http://www.w3.org/2002/01/UsingZakim> Irc channel: #htmlspeech =================== = Recent minute-takers = =================== 9 December: Dan Druta 2 December: Raj Tumuluri 18 November: Milan Young, Dan Burnett 11 November: Debbie Dahl
