Everyone, We're going to have our first *official* W3C Federated Social Web telecon, and we need to determine the time! We'll have telecons once or twice a month and we'll just keep rotating between easy for Europe and Japan/Australia. http://www.doodle.com/usv5hsrxu8mnf2ax Earlier there was a teleconference with the informal Federated Social Web Google Group, and minutes for that have been posted to our homepage [1], I hope everyone here is OK with having the telecon with them first asking them if it was OK to continue the discussion over the W3C list and introducing them to W3C tools. Apologies if that was not clear. List-serv, wiki, and other migration issues will be done over the next week or so. Also, please send out any agenda items ahead of time. Two agenda items already: 1) In good news, the W3C and PrimeLife have agreed to sponsor the next Federated Social Web conference, and it will be hosted by W3C in Berlin at June 3-5th 2011). We should all discuss our goals and what we want to come out of it before we go completely public with the announcement, including making sure we keep the developer-central angle on the first Federated Social Web summit. 2) I'd also like to discuss an encrypted communication use-case that has come up. So, hopefully this group will come from dormant to alive over the next period of time! Can't wait to get it started. cheers, harry [1] http://www.w3.org/2011/01/11-fedeated-minutes.html
