Dear participants to the Emotion XG, now that we are basically set up and complete, it is time for a first phone meeting. However, it is holiday season now in many places; we should only do this first meeting if enough people are there. Tentatively, I suggest as a date: *Thursday 3 August* time to be determined from your input Could you please send me your availability during that day (e.g., "from 9-17 London time" or "from 9-11 and from 18-20 Beijing time")? If we can get together two thirds of the participants, the meeting will take place on that day; otherwise, it will be post-poned to early September. -> please reply *only to me*, I will collect responses and propose a time that fits most. Preliminary Agenda ================== Date: (3 August 2006 or September) Participants: All registered members of the group Duration: 1 hour * Introductions (short "round-the-table") (all: 15 minutes) - Who am I? What do I expect from this group? (1 minute per person) * Organisational issues (Marc: 5 minutes) - W3C accounts => access to member-only web space - phone meeting + irc system - wiki, issue+action tracker - use of public vs. member mailing lists * Activities planned for this group (30 minutes) - proposed activity outline (Marc: 5 minutes) - open discussion (all: 25 minutes) * Any other business Best regards, Marc -- Dr. Marc Schröder, Senior Researcher DFKI GmbH, Stuhlsatzenhausweg 3, D-66123 Saarbrücken, Germany http://www.dfki.de/~schroed Here.
