The WORKPAD Ontology

Dear Renato,

thank you for letting me participate in the last phone conference of the 
EIIF Incubator Group.

As Guido said, we are collaborating on the EU research project WORKPAD 
which is about supporting the collaboration between emergency 
organisations and operators. In this project we distinguish between the 
mobile operators on field (what we call the front-end, FE) and 
information providers from a back-end (BE) such as the control rooms of 
the respective organisations. Regarding this BE, the integration of data 
hosted by different (emergency) organisations should be done based on 
ontologies.

If you wish, we can contribute by introducing to you some drafts and 
basic ideas about our ontologies.
Also, since I am new to this Incubator Group, I can offer to read and 
review the current draft of your report in order to provide comments 
from an outside view.
