This is essentially an implementation of the web audio API in my specification as it stands now. Although I believe the API is in a very mature state, there are some details which we can work out over the next few months. In the meantime, it should be usable by early developers who have an interest in it. > * When will we have an official WebKit build with the audio api in it? > (I'm counting canaries in as well) > * When will such be implemented in Chrome / Safari? > I think you're asking the same question here. Try to understand that companies sometimes try to be a little cagey about such things, but I'll try to be as forthcoming as possible. I can't speak for Apple, in terms of shipping dates for Safari, or any Mac OS X software updates. For Apple's WebKit nightly, I need to speak with some Apple folks about enabling it, so I don't have a clear answer about exactly when that would happen. I'm still finishing up some last minute work for Chrome, but hope to have it available soon. Cheers, Chris
