Dear Backplane XG...here's the agenda for tomorrow's 11:00 - 11:30 Eastern telecon: Regrets: Steven 1. I've verified Jack's SMIL code runs in both Safari and FF3 on the Mac so let's discuss details of how to wire into the Finance demo. I suggest doing a help panel that dispatches events onto the GUI page to highlight and select available buttons for reporting expenses either in SVG or piping into the ODF report. This will require ability to dispatch an event to start the SMIL code and also for SMIL to dispatch events elsewhere on the page to trigger actions etc. 2. We can also review plans for the ODF text subset intended to show the potential for a Ubiquity-ODT implementation of ODF as a "native" browser format, i.e. not requiring plug-ins. 3. I think it also makes sense to start outlining and drafting the XG report in parallel with the demo impl as we know pretty much what's to be done and can get a jump on the paper.
