Backplane talk at TPAC?

Hi all -- here's a proposal for what we could do during the Wednesday tech
plenary day at TPAC...not sure how much time will be available, but let's
discuss during our telecon. Thanks, Charlie

Making it all work together -- the Rich Web Application Backplane revisited
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------..

1. What is the Backplane? -- review/reminder of 2006 Tech Plenary panel
      a. set of behaviors/components needed by many/all web applications --

with default action patterns

2. RWAB XG -- focus on experimentation
      a. approach to implementation -- AJAX libraries as XML virtual
machine
      b. quick demo of Loan form in Ubiquity

3. Examples of making it work together using these components and patterns
      a. data model/submission in AJAX -- YUI search examples
      b. data model *as* API -- SMIL tours
      c. accessibility -- Loan+ARIA
      d. loosely coupled multimodal -- Loan+Voice

4. Is it the markup or the behavior?
