Extra events

Pulling two past unresolved threads together.

In some applications I have built/am building, there are two events I would 
love to have:

[back] Within the app, if the user (out of habit) hits [back], rather than 
going back in the app, it goes to the previous page in the browser, thus 
losing the app. I would dearly like to catch this, to be able to do what 
the user thought was going to happen.

[wake] If the app is in a browser window, and the user goes away and does 
other things, and then returns, maybe days later, I would love to have an 
event signalling the return, so that I can check that the data is up to 
date for instance.
