I see that <output/> has a binding restriction: Data Binding Restrictions: 
Binds to any simpleContent 
<https://www.w3.org/community/xformsusers/wiki/XForms_2.0#def-simpleContent>
  or an atomic value.


This clearly has to be dropped.
