"separator
Optional string specifying the separator character between name/value  
pairs in urlencoding, if the value of the serialization attribute is  
"application/x-www-form-urlencoded"; otherwise the attribute is ignored.  
The default is '&'."

This is wrong. @separator applies if the *serialization* used is  
application/x-www-form-urlencoded, regardless of the value of  
@serialization.
