Markku Laine, a postdoctoral researcher at Aalto University, Finland
recently defended his doctoral dissertation entitled "Unified Web
Application Development - A Declarative Approach to Empower End-User
Developers".
Amongst other things, in chapter 4 he proposes several extensions to
XForms.
