No one had any problem with this. I declare consensus, and will create an editorial action for Anil to make the replacement. From: "Mary Ellen Zurko" <Mary_Ellen_Zurko@notesdev.ibm.com> To: public-wsc-wg@w3.org Date: 09/28/2008 09:09 AM Subject: ACTION-515 Propose tightened text in 7.2 Sent by: public-wsc-wg-request@w3.org We discovered we were unhappy with how nebulous the text in 7.2 about user confusion is. Here is my proposal for changing it based on that discussion: "Web User Agents MUST NOT communicate trust information using user interface elements which can be mimicked within chrome under the control of web content. Site-controlled content (e.g. page title, favicon) MAY be hosted in chrome, but this content MUST NOT be displayed in a manner that confuses hosted content and chrome indicators, by allowing that content to either mimic chrome indicators in a position close to them " The text it would replace: "Web User Agents MUST NOT communicate trust information using user interface elements which can be mimicked within chrome under the control of web content. Site-controlled content (e.g. page title, favicon) MAY be hosted in chrome, but this content MUST NOT be displayed in a manner that confuses hosted content and chrome indicators "
