Hi Thomas, As I mentioned a while back, we've moved to the place where folks raising issues are expected to follow the best practices in our wiki: http://www.w3.org/2006/WSC/wiki/WriteGoodIssue This sounds more like an action than a well formed Issue. If it's an action, please create an action (feel free to link the issue to it). If it's an Issue, please update according to our guidelines. From: Web Security Context Working Group Issue Tracker <sysbot+tracker@w3.org> To: public-wsc-wg@w3.org Date: 02/26/2008 07:04 AM Subject: ISSUE-185: UI recommendations for URI handlers? [wsc-xit] ISSUE-185: UI recommendations for URI handlers? [wsc-xit] http://www.w3.org/2006/WSC/track/issues/ Raised by: Thomas Roessler On product: wsc-xit The HTML5 spec includes guidelines and sample UI for custom protocol handlers: http://www.w3.org/html/wg/html5/#custom-handlers We should talk to them about including something like this with wsc-xit, not HTML5. I haven't reviewed the HTML5 spec in enough detail to say whether or not this is the only point where they specify material in our scope.
