Hello Everyone, I apologize for this late formal personal introduction and almost inactive state, which is mostly due to my work load here in AOL. I have been joining the weekly calls every now and then, and almost scribed a weekly meeting once too :-). I have been at AOL since last 8 years working on AOL's Web Authentication System (called 'Screen Name Service' some might have known it as 'Magic Carpet') that provides Secure User Authentication and Single Sign On across all AOL/AIM/Netscape/AOL Intl sites. Recently (since last 8/9 months) I have been working along/involved with the Identity Gang (http://identitygang.org/) in the user-centric Identity space for the future web apps (mostly around SAML, OpenID and CardSpace) and trying to help the company in building an Identity strategy for the future. My special interest in this group is mainly due to the new user-centric identity models that have been/are being proposed and how they put a lot of control in the user's hand. With the User-Agent being the most common user's medium to interact with various Web applications that need secure authentication & authorization, I strongly believe that User Interfaces are going to play a major role in establishing Trust relationships between users and Providers. I am looking forward to participate more and contribute to the group's goals. I will be joining the F2F meeting in Dublin to meet people in person and participate more in the discussions. regards, Praveen -- =praveen.alavilli (http://2idi.com/contact/=praveen.alavilli) Email: AlavilliPraveen@aol.com Tel: 703 265 5062
