Hi All, I'd like to take a quick second to introduce myself to the list. My name is Ian Fette, and I am a Product Manager at Google. Two of my products are Anti-Phishing and Anti-Malware. Google obviously has an interest in trying to help solve these problems, and we are already working with the community to help do so. The work being done within W3C WSC will hopefully help to protect users from threats on the Internet, and so I have joined the working group on Google's behalf to help out in that process. Many of you may already know me from the past. Prior to working at Google, I was at Carnegie Mellon, on whose behalf I attended APWG meetings where I have seen a number of people from this list, the WWW07 conference where I met a few more of you, and, among other things, the W3C Workshop on Transparency and Usability of Web Authentication, which I understand to be one of the motivations behind the formation of this working group. I look forward to getting to know the rest of the members of the working group, and to help make the web a safer place for users. Thanks, Ian Fette
