http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=7698 Summary: WS-Eventing: Is it possible to renew an expired subscription? Product: WS-Resource Access Version: PR Platform: PC OS/Version: Windows XP Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Eventing AssignedTo: public-ws-resource-access-notifications@w3.org ReportedBy: katy_warr@uk.ibm.com QAContact: public-ws-resource-access-notifications@w3.org The WS-Eventing spec does not make it clear whether it is possible to renew a subscription that has previously expired or been canceled. I assume that such an expired/canceled subscription is invalid (refer also to issue 7553 - where the proposal clarifies this). Proposal: Assume that it is not possible to renew invalid (including canceled/expired) subscriptions Add text to 4.2 Renew "If the subscription is not valid, the request MUST fail and the subscription manager MUST generate a wse:InvalidSubscription fault." -- Configure bugmail: http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug.
